Our Story …
Team No Wukkers is so excited to be embarking on this epic adventure to the great outback of NSW in aid of raising vital money for Cancer Research within Australia.
We are a father and son team, Jarrah my 9 year old son will be accompanying me, Owen on this noble quest that is so relevant to us and our greater family.
Jarrah has lost a Pa to cancer, 2 great-grandparents, many distant family members have also lost their lives to cancer. Jarrah's Poppy is currently under treat ment for cancer as well as 2 great uncles and an aunty.
Our family knows of the great loss and grief that accompanies the disease and the life long feelings of loss after our loved ones are no longer suffering.
we ask for all the support of our community, not just financial contributions, but also to follow our journey and by sending love and supportive messages along the way.
We hope that with your support and efforts, our participation in this charity fundraising event will be very successful in on day unlocking the door to a full and complete cure for cancer.
We are running this rally in loving memory of those we have lost to cancer including Mud Harper, May Jones, Monique Dillon and our family members who are still undergoing treatment for the battle they face (Trevor, John, Brett, Hilary, Urene).
Here's what I'm doing …
Lunchbox Rally is not a race – it’s a fun adventure. Each night will be spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the days achievements. It’s an incredible opportunity to see some of Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make new friends!
Lunchbox Rally 2025 will see teams set off from Broken Hill and return to Broken Hill 4 days later! Each night we will be stopping in remote outback locations to enjoy bush hospitality at its finest and be making memories that will last a life time.

Lunch Box Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Lunch Box Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$50 million over the past 15 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
- A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
- A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
- A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
